About me: I moved to Moray in July 2011 and love it here. I tried uni when I was 17/18, but it wasn't for me, ten years later I decided to try again and I am very glad I did! I am a single mum and I love music, and really need to get back into writing and singing again, it's been far too long.
My UHI: I didn't know what to expect from becoming a part of UHI as my course is online based, but I have met some great people regardless of hardly ever being on campus! The staff have been so helpful and really care about their students. BACYS is turning out to be a very varied and interesting course, it is challenging, but I love a challenge.
My Time: I am only in first year, and it's already been a learning curve, or learning rollercoast! The online factor of my course has inspired me to want to try and make everyone at Moray feel part of UHI, whether they are studying online or at the campus. I stood for Moray College Representative in the UHISA election, and can happily say I was elected!
My Dreams: My main ambition is to work hard to get my degree. I know it's going to be difficult, and it's going to be a long process, but I am determined to succeed. My dream is to eventually provide the life for my daughter which she deserves. I believe we should never give up on our dreams, they make us who we are.
