NBN Conference 2021 - book now!

We are pleased to announce that bookings for this year’s NBN Conference have now opened!

Taking place online on Wednesday 24 November the theme is "Biodiversity data - from collection to use".

Information on the confirmed speakers can be found on the website and the programme will be finalised over the next few weeks. With representatives from the Natural Capital and Ecosystem Assessment programme, Nature Metrics, Biological Records Centre, University of East Anglia, Global Biodiversity Information Facility as well as the NBN Trust, it will see a host of topics discussed throughout the day.

There are also ways for you to get involved as shown below.

From now until the winter, as people start to clear old plant material from their gardens, the GB Non-Native Species Secretariat is promoting the Be Plant Wise guidance around responsible disposal of unwanted plants.

Asian Hornet Week

The British Beekeepers' Association’s annual Asian Hornet Week is taking place from 6 – 10 September. The Association is asking everyone to be vigilant in helping to look out for this alien species which could decimate our pollinators.
