NAR Announces
New Three-Day Format for
2019 REALTORS® Expo
in San Francisco

The National Association of REALTORS® is pleased to announce that the 2019 REALTORS® Conference & Expo in San Francisco will now feature a three-day schedule for the trade expo.

Based on the overwhelming response to the 2018 exhibitor survey requesting for a reduction in the number of show days from four to three, the 2019 expo – and future expos – will have a Friday-Sunday schedule with Monday removed.

According to Heidi Henning, NAR Vice President of Meetings, Sales and Events, “Our exhibitors spoke and we listened.”

The question asked in the exhibitor survey, “What changes would you recommend to the current expo schedule?” resulted in over 80% of exhibitors in favor of eliminating Monday from the show schedule. The lack of traffic on Monday was the number one reason behind the change implemented by NAR.

The revised schedule results in less time out of the office for exhibitor staff and real savings on housing, food & beverage, temporary help, and daily show rentals.

There’s even more reason to get excited about exhibiting in San Francisco in 2019:

  • California boasts the largest population of REALTORS® in the US with 183,000 members
  • The REALTORS® Conference & Expo last held in San Francisco in 2013 was the largest gathering of REALTORS® since 2007
  • International attendance in 2013 was the second largest in conference history
  • San Francisco was named the best market for real estate agents in 2018 (WalletHub)
