Easter Hunt

22 April

Cranleigh Lions and District Club will be hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Cranleigh Showground. The fun free event for children under 10, sees hundreds of other explorers search for Easter Eggs around the park.  The event has plenty of free parking and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Baby Fair

10 April

Covering areas from pregnancy through to pre school, the Bump and Beyond Baby Fair, Kempton Racecourse, Middlesex has something for everyone. At the fair you'll have the chance to try out pushchairs and baby classes, chat to nursery providers and buy gifts.

The Pied Piper

30 April

The Pied Piper of Hamelin at The Mill Studio at Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Millbrook,  has been especially written for a younger audience, with fun mechanical toys, clockwork boxes, and glove and finger puppets. This unique show provides a great introduction to story-telling for the very young and their families.

Race Day

10 April

The Countryside Raceday at Ascot, Berkshire, makes a fun day out for the whole family. Alongside the traditional racing, the day also hosts a range of countryside activities, with a parade of hounds, falconry displays, a family farm and a shooting gallery for older guests.

Run Rabbit!

17 April

The Bunny Fun Run at Queens Park, Catherham is a great event for all the family to enjoy or take part in! Organised by Caterham Rotary the event raises money for St Catherine’s Hospice. All participants receive a free Easter egg and there are prizes for winners and best dressed bunnies!

Royal Fun

When Freddy Pank was born 13-weeks early it was the care and dedication of staff at Kingston Hospital’s neo-natal unit which saw him through.  Six years on mum Kirsty has repaid her debt of gratitude with an amazing fundraising feat which has seen her raise more than £15,000 almost single-handedly.

TV Pick

Children’s chef, Annabel Karmel, will be launching her brand new TV show, Annabel’s Kitchen on the 11th April. The show will see Annabel introduce children to healthy and delicious recipes with the help of her fun new friends, Pearl the Penguin, Jimmy the Penguin and a selection of singing cupcakes. Gift of Life

This season we found out more about egg donation and what it entails as one couple shared their fascinating story. "After three years of hormone treatments and hospital visits, it shouldn’t have been a surprise when we were told that we would need IVF to have a baby. I was my ideal weight, a non-smoker and virtually tee-total. My husband was a normal, healthy man. Infertility wasn’t meant to happen to us."

Taste Matters

As part of a unique campaign to promote tasty baby food, frozen baby food manufacturer, Babylicious,asked a group of mums with babies under one year, if they think taste matters, and if so, why? The mums’ response was interesting because while they understood the importance of good nutrition, safe feeding and balanced meals, amongst the advice they had recieved, no one had explained how important taste is when it comes to feeding your baby.

To raise funds and awareness of the risks in the later stages of pregnancy Count the Kicks are producing a Charity Calendar. Professional Family Portrait photographers across the UK have come together to offer FREE portrait shoots to enter these fun shots into a competition, the 12 winning shots will be used for the calendar.
