Good afternoon,
Linked below is the Import-Export Report for February 2019.
Here are a few key findings:
-
Imported beer volume reverted closer to its expected trend during February 2019, decreasing by 2.1%.
-
February was the fifth consecutive month of declining imported beer volume, bringing the latest 12 month total to up 2%.
-
Mexican imports returned to growth in February. Their volume grew 2% during the month and are now down 6.3% year-to-date.
-
Exported beer volume continued to decline at double-digit rates in February. Ongoing declines in exported beer volume are due in part to continued appreciation of the U.S. dollar compared to other major currencies.
