WINTER EVENTS INJECT A COOL $320 MILLION INTO
NSW VISITOR ECONOMY

Winter 2025 is shaping up to be another standout season for tourism in NSW.

Destination NSW is supporting 24 events across the state between June and August 2025 that are expected to attract nearly 2.5 million attendees and generate more than $320 million in visitor spend.

Vivid Sydney kicked off the season in spectacular style, drawing almost 200,000 people on each of its four peak Saturdays.

To keep the momentum going, our new seasonal marketing campaign - Feel the Sydney Side of Winter - is targeting key domestic markets across Victoria, Queensland, the ACT and regional NSW.
