A bright and early start this Saturday as England KO early (0815) against the Aussies. Lewis Ludlam is sure to feature from the bench so come up early to support at HDL.

The Ireland v All Blacks game will also be showing so it could be a long Saturday at HDL as the club also hosts 2 senior home games in the afternoon and a pre-match luncheon.

Saturday 19th October

0815 - ENGLAND v AUSTRALIA - World Cup 1/4 Final

Club opens at 0730 for bacon butties etc. The bar opens at 0900!

ALL WELCOME! - WEAR YOUR COLOURS!!!

The match will be shown on the big screen and the tv. The match featuring New Zealand  v Ireland  (KO 1115) will be shown on the TV only as the big screen area will be prepared for luncheon.

The Magpies have endured a tough start to their league campaign due to several players filling for 1st XV absenteeism and their own injury woes. Don't worry boys, you'll come good!

Duncan John's Mighty XV are on a bit of a roll at the moment - keep it up boys!

World Cup - Wales v France & Japan v South Africa - anyone out there betting against a Japan v France semi final ????  But matches will be on the club TV.

A massive volunteer effort by over 2 dozen members brings you our annual fireworks spectacular. Please bring your family and friends to this club fundraiser. The whizz bangs and explosions are professionally managed with food and entertainment available. The bar will be open nice and early.

MAIN PITCH PERIMETER ADVERTISING BOARDS

The club are working towards getting three sides of the pitch to be full of large advertising boards as soon as possible.

The boards are 3m long x 0.75m deep.

NOVEMBER 9 - FORMER PLAYERS LUNCH 1

IPSWICH v NORWICH

High flying Norwich visit HDL for what could be quite a tasty London 2 North East league derby.

The food will be tasty as well and with over 30 former players already booked in this could be a bumper lunch as we expect Norwich to bring a lot of supporters and we have sponsors tables already booked in. So get your diaries organised and clear the way to enjoy a cracking afternoon of rugby and reminiscing!
