Once again, Louisiana has been struck by a significant hurricane — causing damage to already ravaged communities struggling to recover from Hurricane Laura. While reports of loss begin to emerge, we anticipate the need for debris removal, tarp application and flood remediation. Hurricane Delta not only represents even more loss of home and property, the emotional and psychological impact is overwhelming and incredibly traumatic to these local communities.
We have been reconnecting with our friends in Louisiana, and our assessment team will be arriving on the scene soon. Their primary objective will be to assess the extent and nature of the damage, and to identify a location to set up our base of operations. As a result, we’ll have created a pathway of service for you as a Reservist to engage in bringing help and hope to survivors in the impact zone.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! PERHAPS THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO ENGAGE IN COMPASSIONATE MINISTRY AND THEREBY, JOIN GOD AS HE SEEKS TO INTERVENE ON BEHALF OF PEOPLE IN LOUISIANA.
Come for a few days or two-weeks. If you can’t come, please consider giving and by all means join us in prayer on behalf of both the survivors and the servants.
