NZSM Dawn Chorus–November 2016

We've got lots of exciting things happening in November so it's a good chance to catch a few events before we head into the quieter summer months. Thanks to all those who have recently filled out our events survey—if you haven't already done so and would like to give us some feedback, here is the link again.

Special invitation to No Man's Land screening

The Hellenic New Zealand Congress, in partnership with Victoria University of Wellington and Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music, warmly invite you to a film screening of acclaimed composer John Psathas’s new work No Man’s Land.

This is a breathtaking composition, which premiered at the 2016 New Zealand Festival
and combines filmed landscapes, music and performers from the countries involved
in World War I. The composition’s intention is to show that collaboration, once unthinkable during war, is not only possible but produces extraordinary results.

If you did not get to see No Man’s Land at the Festival, this is an unmissable opportunity to see an exciting and very relevant new work introduced by the composer.

Date: Friday 18 November 2016 at 7pm
Venue: Memorial Theatre, Student Union Building, Gate 3, Victoria University
