For many children the last few weeks will mean school trips, hopefully opportunities for more physical activity, the well-established sports day and if lucky, a class residential experience.  I believe that outdoor and adventure activity when linked to a few days away with class friends provides one of the most meaningful experiences our subject can offer. After an exciting year of School Games, Team Furness were crowned the overall district winners:




School Games Poetry Winner

Holly Williams is our overall winner, from St Catherines School, Penrith who read her poem at the Opening Ceremony.

Tour of Britain Schools Roadshow

Children at two primary schools in Cumbria got a special visit from the official Tour of Britain mascot ToBi, who is building excitement ahead of the UK’s premier road cycling event coming to the county in September. More>>
