Hello Hello!

How the devil are you all?

“Who on earth are you?” I hear some of you ask, “and how did you get this email address?”

Well, there’s no need for sarcasm. I know it’s been rather a long time since my last newsletter, but hopefully this one will make amends, and we can start to rebuild our once beautiful relationship (or at least the one where you periodically buy things from my website and I say hello once every couple of months)

Brace yourselves for my MINI SHOW NEWS!
[insert snazzy jingle]

As of October the 4th, The Burobbu and I will be taking over unit 30 in the BOXPARK in Shoreditch, East London. The Burobbu have even offered to decorate the shop and I am, as ever, excited by their whisperings.

Initially I will be showing a series of small, limited edition, experimental paintings, based on sketches for large scale works appearing in my next big solo show in 2014. There will be 3 versions of each. I've been using them to try out some new things and basically just play with paint for a bit. There will be a complete set available on the opening night and I’ll be bringing in the other versions over the course of the month, as and when they're finished.

Then, from November up until Christmas, it will turn more into your classic Burobbu Boutique showing paintings, prints and a plethora of other goodies. These include Series 2 of The Mysterious Burobbu, limited edition Grand Burobbu sculptures, new posters, postcard sets and maybe even a couple of new prints. All to coincide with the new website launch.
Golly to the gosh.

Oh yes. As well as having a baby, moving studio and opening a shop, I'm also redoing the website.

"But Tom! What hope do you have of playing Grand Theft Auto V?!" None, my kind and understanding art loving friends. None.

The sacrifices I make for my art sometimes leave me breathless and panicky.

Opening night for the paintings is Thursday 3rd of October 6.00 - 9.00.

No need to rsvp but it is a TINY space so I'd get there early. :)

Cheerio for now.
