Community Easter Egg Hunt:  Grab your family and friends and invite them to join us Saturday, March 31st at 10am for MVCC’s 1st Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt.  Children from infants to 5th grade are invited to join in the hunt for thousands of Easter eggs on MVCC’s fields for this community event that includes a moon bounce, games, facepainting, and more. We also need your help:

* Donate empty plastic eggs and candy (nut-free) to the event.
* Bring candy and eggs to church and leave in upper and lower lobbies by March 18th.
* We need many volunteers to help make this a huge success.

Child Dedication Services:  Mountain View is making preparations for Child Dedication Services on April 14-15.  At MVCC, we celebrate life and recognize the God-given responsibility of parents to raise their children in a Gospel focused and God honoring way. To participate in child dedication, we are asking parents to attend a parent equipping class on April 8, immediately following the 11:00am service. If you want to register, or have questions about child dedication, the class, or anything regarding parenting, please contact Pastor Adam at pastoradam@mvccfrederick.com.  If you are unable to attend the class, please contact Pastor Adam to set up a private meeting.

Acts of God:  Our annual Student Ministry Dessert Theater is Friday, April 6, at 7:00pm. AOG is a fun night of family entertainment featuring amazing talent, hilarious skits, and lots of crowd involvement. AOG also features a student art exhibit and a chance to win door prizes. Tickets are $10 per person or $25 for the family. Tickets go on sale starting this weekend, March 17 and 18 in the lobby. All proceeds benefit our Student Ministries trip to the Challenge Conference in Kansas City this summer.

Upcoming Mission Opportunity: May 20-26 2018, MVCC will be sending another team of 12 men/women back to Pearland, Texas, to continue the rebuilding work with Samaritan's Purse. There is still so much work to be done! The teams are repairing homes and may be involved with new home construction, too. There will also be an opportunity to share the love of Christ with people who have experienced so much loss and devastation. Orphan Ministry Informational Meeting: Have you heard of Mountain View's orphan ministry, "Abba's Hands and Heart"? This ministry provides opportunities for you to serve orphans and vulnerable children in Frederick County, and throughout the world. On Tuesday April 10th, from 7:00- 8:30pm, we will be hosting an informational meeting in the adult classroom to talk about the many different ways you can be involved.
