4th Grade eNews

We are beaming with pride on how wonderful our students did at the program yesterday.  They worked so hard, not only on their parts, but preparing and learning about our great nation.  We feel so blessed to live in a country that was founded on God’s standards.

• Bible - We will be learning about being Salt and Light. 
• Verse -  Matthew 5:14, 16 “You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
• Spelling – Unit 22- kinder, easier, kindest, safest, nearer, nearest, funniest, cuter, happier, quietest, quicker, safer, thinnest, happiest, cutest, thinner, quickest, quieter, easiest, funnier
• Language - Chapter 7: Direct Object and Verbs
• Math – Ch. 9 Data- We will be testing over this chapter next week.
• Social Studies – Geography Skills
• Entire United States quiz on Friday- the students must know capitals and locations.
• Science – Ch. 8 Water and Oceans
• Reading – Introducing our new skill of Perspective and Starting our new novel: Wonder by R.J. Palacio

• Chick-Fil- A biscuits are available Tuesday and Friday for $3.00
