Dear Friend 

I wanted to reach out to you on behalf of everyone at Leeds Trinity University to let you know we are thinking about you and your family during these difficult times. As you may already be aware, the University suspended face-to-face teaching and assessments on Wednesday 18 March and moved to online delivery.

The Alumni Office may have moved temporarily to a remote office, but it is still open from 9.00am – 5.00pm to keep in touch with you and support you in any way possible. We will continue to share updates about the University, helpful advice and other key information we feel is useful.

Many of you will be affected by coronavirus in so many different ways, but one way we hope we can support you at this time, is to continue to share inspirational stories about our alumni. The picture above shows two of our amazing alumni - Richie Anderson and Reverend Kate Bottley - who this month completed three triathlons in three days to raise money for Sport Relief. This is just one example of the amazing things our alumni do and we'd love to hear even more!

Would you like to be involved with any of the following activities?

·      Share an inspirational alumni story of how you are currently overcoming adversity 

·      Share any podcast links of interest to alumni

·      Film a video or seminar about something you are expert in, that would
       be of interest to our alumni community or that can help them in some way
 

You could even be part of a new alumni video to inspire the next generation…

96% of our alumni community who completed our 2020 survey said they would recommend Leeds Trinity to others. This is something we're extremely proud of and would love to take this a step further by putting together a lively collage of film footage.

This would involve you filming yourself for about 10-15 seconds (preferably in portrait) and saying your name, course, graduation year and what the one best thing about Leeds Trinity was and then email it to the Alumni Office or send by dropbox or similar method. Once we have enough footage we will share this on University channels.

Weekly quiz

Every Friday at 12.00 noon, until further notice, I will post a dingbats or picture quiz on the Alumni Facebook page for a chance to win a prize. The prizes will be sent out when the campus re-opens but it will be the first thing I do when I return to the office!
