We have finished our farm unit this week.  It has been a learning experience to see where our food comes from.  We are planning a field trip to Farmland in October.  We will let you know more about the details later.  Thank you for helping with the show and tell homework!

• Show and tell: We will all bring an apple on the same day.  Since our schedules are somewhat different your teacher will let you know which day to bring it.  Our unit next week will be APPLES!
• Bible verse: Psalm 17:8, “Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wing.”
• Bible: Jacob and Esau
• Reading: Practice reading the 14 sight words for this nine weeks.  Letters Tt and Ii will be our new letters next week.  Sequencing a story is our comprehension skill for reading.
• Math: Left and right, number families, number recognition, writing number 5

• September 27 - Grandparents Day program at 9:00 in the Worship Center, 11:00 dismissal and no extended care
• October 3 - Cookie dough pick up
• Bring water bottles (filled) to school each day.
