In 2016, Geotech opened our branch in Delta, BC; recognizing the Lower Mainland as an opportunity for Geotech to offer our unique approach to drilling services. It has taken time to create awareness that the go-to northern contractor is available in the Lower Mainland, but we have appreciated the ongoing support of our provincial clients providing us opportunities in the region. So what sets Geotech's Delta branch apart from the numerous drilling companies in the Lower Mainland? Similar to our approach in the north, our team focuses on providing solutions for any type of project, big or small. From the weird and wacky tight access parkade assessments, to bridge and
port barge programs, through to shallow solid stem auger projects, Geotech’s Delta branch has what you need to get the job done safely and efficiently. Further to this, Geotech works in conjunction with our partner company Gregg Drilling and Testing Canada to provide world-renowned Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) services. Gone are the days of dealing with the hassles of multiple subcontractors; we can provide the drilling and CPT under one roof. With options for tight-access, amphibious, truck and track CPT. This even includes dedicated push-ram systems that can operate off the back of any drill rig! We are excited to continue our operations in the region and for the new opportunities which lie ahead as we look to provide a sustainable business in the
Lower Mainland for many years to come.
Our Delta team has continued to expand our fleet and can offer environmental and geotechnical drilling, along with CPT in conjunction with Gregg Drilling Canada. This fleet includes: - Fraste MDXL Max Sonic | Track Rig | Sonic, SPT, CPT
- Fraste

The success of our Lower Mainland branch wouldn’t be possible without the people and leadership running the operations. John Cameron joined Geotech in 2003 and is the branch manager in Delta. Mr. Cameron oversees all aspects of Geotech's more complex and unique land and near shore based
geotechnical focused projects; responsible for tenders, project estimates, client relations, and ongoing operations support. Since joining Geotech, he has completed numerous projects in Canada, South America and Greenland.
