A New Year: Advent 2011

Dear friends and colleagues,

Advent is here again and with it a new year begins. We at the Office for Young Adult and Campus Ministries are taking a moment to pause and assess where we've come and where we want to go. Below you'll find a survey to tell us how we're doing as a network and what you'd like to see more of.

On a more individual level, this time of year also marks the beginning of anxiety for summer plans and the inevitable "what am I going to do next year?" moment. So, below you will also find links to some amazing internship opportunities available through the Episcopal Church and its networks. Please spread the word. If you have internships or service opportunities you would like us to share, please send them along and we will pass them around as well as add them on our facebook page under Notes: Internships.

Our prayers are with you as we enter this holy and often busy season. May this Advent be a time of hope and of peace as we await the coming of our Lord and as we begin a new year in ministry together.

Many blessings!

Jason Sierra, Officer for Young Adult Leadership and Vocations

Valerie Harris, Formation & Vocation Associate

We need your feedback!

Please take some time to fill out this survey as we explore how to better equip and mobilize our networks to meet the needs of the young adults we serve. Ministers, Missioners, Rectors, Parents, Grandparents, Youth Workers, Students, and Young Adults are all invited to participate. So, fill it out and send it around, the more feedback the better! This information will be used to set priorities for 2012 as well as the next Triennium. >>
