1. Whether your ship docks at Heritage or Redcliffe Quay, you will be just a few steps from the centre of St. John's and key attractions. On busy days, the overflow is Deep Water Harbour; we recommend a taxi into town from there, costing around $10.
2. Within the capital itself, you'll find charming restored trading buildings, the Antigua Museum, markets and many bars, shops and restaurants.
3. It is claimed that Antigua has 365 beaches. For water sports try Jabberwock Beach. Families may enjoy Valley Church Beach or Jolly Beach and, for something with a more lively atmosphere, try Dickenson Bay's many bars, restaurants and resorts.
4. You can get active in many different ways; snorkelling, kayaking, horseback riding, ziplining and more. The island also has a couple of golf courses if you fancy a round.
5. For incredible views, consider taking a catarmaran excursion where you can appreciate the island from the sea. For the iconic view of the coastline, don't miss an opportunity to head up to Shirley Heights (pictured).

Last week, we had some great guesses - well done to everyone. The correct answer was Columbus. Let's have another bit of fun... good luck! This elegant ship was born in the year the winter Olympics went to the Far East, and we said a final goodbye to "Ol' Blue Eyes.' She was ordered by a cruise line no longer in existence. She spent some time in Germany and was renamed as the 'sequel' to a great explorer. She's from a big family, although she's only in touch with one of her seven sisters. She entered the NEXT generation of luxury cruising in January 2020.
