Mandela month
In July, South Africa celebrates former President Nelson Mandela’s birthday. 18 July has been declared Nelson Mandela International Day, but as South Africans we embrace the chance to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s life for the whole of July. This provides a unique opportunity for people around the world to reflect on his life and times and to promote his legacy. In 2018 the Nelson Mandela Foundation will seek to create appropriate platforms for such engagement.
As part of Mandela month we at Genesis Projects and Realty decided we want to give back to our community. We decided to give our new homeowners of Pelican Island a 'thank you' gift back just to show our appreciation for their continued support.

We have not only experienced progress with our developments but we have also seen a change in our community. For the last three months The Ridge Shopping centre, where our offices are located, has undergone a complete facelift as to modernise our community's overall appearance.
We are also happy to announce that Rocky Cove, one of four developments in Wilgeheuwel, is completely sold out and successfully transferred and that 81 (Rocky Cove and Pelican Island) of 178 unit have been registered this month, the remaining is expected to be registered in August.
