Hi there,

A wake-up call has been sounded this week for self-congratulatory CIOs basking in the glory of successful WFH initiatives, with news that boards and chief executives are getting impatient when it comes to digital transformation.

The driver, of course, is Covid-19. If leaders hadn’t already clicked to the power of digital, it’s certainly been driven home now, with non-digital companies among those struggling the most in the wake of lockdowns.

In other news:

  • B2B buyers underwhelmed with state of A/NZ e-commerce
  • Proposed law eyes critical infrastructure network and systems
  • AU organisations collaborating on Industry 4.0
  • Google rejects Hong Kong data requests

We also take a look at the role of automation in creating customer documentation – and how it can be used to delight the customer. It's typically the domain of insurers, but there's multiple applications across industries.

Enjoy the read,

Hand it over – in the name of national interest…

Proposed security laws
