Fay was not just a co-worker, but was a role model and sought after mentor with many underserved youth of all backgrounds, and with Asian American adults with HIV-AIDS at Project Reach. Lee Early Childhood Center located in the new CPC Queens Community Center in Flushing, Queens.

Celebrating CPC's Unsung HeroesDuring the month of October three distinguished CPC staff were recognized for their great contributions to the Early Childhood and Social Work fields respectively. Mary Cheng, CPC Early Childhood Services Director was honored as an Unsung Hero of Early Childhood Education by the Day Care Council of New York. CPC Assistant Executive Director and Director of Senior Services, Po Ling Ng received the Social Work Image Award from the National Association of Social Workers. OCA - Asian Pacific American Long Island Chapter honored Lois Lee, Director of CPC Queen Early Childhood Center, with the Distinguished Social Service Award.
Successful First Year of the Nonprofit Resiliency CommitteeThe Nonprofit Resiliency Committee was launched by Mayor Bill de Blasio. CPC was invited by the Mayor’s Office to join the Nonprofit Resiliency Committee with 72 organizations from the nonprofit human service sector. The committee worked with the Mayor's Office and city agencies to stabilize the sector and implement strategies that will allow social service organizations to continue delivering high-quality services to underserved New Yorkers over the long-term.
