iStart Australia

Hi there,

Datacom has long been bullish about the Australian market. The Kiwi-founded company is set to expand its already strong foothold with news of plans to add a second customer service hub in South Australia – bringing with it 650+ new jobs.

The first SA hub, opened in 2018, proved an employment winner, adding staff faster than initially anticipated, with headcount now topping 1,200.

The new facility will model the first, targeting the previously unemployed and providing training and ongoing development into new careers.

At any time, the new jobs and upskilling would be welcomed. But as we look to rebuild post-Covid/-fires/-floods, news like this is not just welcomed, but vital for helping reboot the economy.
