Important Explanation of the NWT Tourism Resolution Process 2020
Dear Members, This note outlines the process for members to bring forward resolutions for consideration by the membership and provides links to our Member Resolution Form and to the Board's report on action taken regarding 2019 resolutions. Process to Bring Forward Resolutions: The process to bring forward resolutions is the same process as last year, but the date by which members need to bring forward their proposed resolutions is earlier. If you are a voting member and you want to bring forward a resolution to be included in the AGM Agenda, you must submit your proposed resolution to the Resolutions Committee no later thanThursday, October 29th, 10:00 a.m. MT. The Resolution Committee is currently drafting resolutions as directed by the Board at the September board meeting. These will be aimed at ensuring the supports are in place for our industry to survive and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. These resolutions are being finalized this week, and they will be shared with the membership when finalized. Here is some important information regarding how to bring forward a proposed resolution for member consideration at the Annual General Meeting:
