Happy Friday Q’s Fans,

It seems to be either time to head for a dip in the creek or the rez for refuge or to find some good food and drink in a friendly, air conditioned oasis. The sizzling temperatures are upon us and here at Q’s and the Corner Bar we aim to quench with refreshingly cool cocktails and satiate with sensational seasonal summer cuisine. In Q’s tonight, Shawn has the delicious Barramundi fish in house that he’ll be pan searing and offering with a sundried tomato polenta, fava beans and a bacon vinaigrette. Also available will be the awesome Chef’s Choice 3 Course Tasting Menu with Wine Pairing for only $40 per person. We’ve heard your requests, Boulder, and have decided to offer the Tasting Menu EVERY NIGHT of the week now, so you don’t have to plan ahead to get our special dinner deal.

Q’s dining room will be closed to the public for happy hour and dinner service due to a private party on Saturday night, but please join us in the Corner Bar where we’ll be happy to accommodate you with our expansive new summer menu and weekend additions that will include a Grilled Chicken Panini on focaccia with ricotta, olives and pepperoncini along with a chilled Tomato Gazpacho with crab and avocado. Joe has brought in a feature bomber, "The Lost Abbey Collaboration" from New Belgium's Lips of Faith Series. This is a limited series beer that New Belgium Brewing Company and The Lost Abbey brewery from San Marcos, California, have collaborated on and it’s a MUST TRY for you connoisseurs out there.

We are proudly pouring the 2010 Benziger Sauvignon Blanc, from Sonoma Valley, as our Wine of the Weekend. We invite you to whet your whistle for the upcoming June 30 “Sonoma Summer” wine dinner (www.qsboulder.com/events/) and quaff a glass of this light and crisp, pretty little wine for only $9 a glass all weekend.

Don’t miss brunch this weekend, either, as we’ll be unveiling our Lemon Grass Mimosa for a special refreshing libation. Have you tried the new Zucchini Bread French Toast with Lemon & Vanilla Bean Maple Syrup, Whipped Cream, and Citrus Salad yet?
