Hi everyone!

Today I'm spending most of my time in Campaign Monitor, getting this email out and preparing tomorrow's launch email for Offscreen Issue 15.

The final files are in my printer's hands now and all I can do is hope everything goes according to plan. There's always a chance for unforeseen challenges – like that time when my paper manufacturer was on fire. Fortunately, we've ordered in plenty of paper a few weeks ago, so that's one problem I can rule out.

Wish me luck! I'll report back next week. πŸ™Œ

This WeekΚΌs Line-Up

Minimal charging docks
01

These charging docks for your mobile phone (Apple and others) and your Apple watch are quite the eye-catcher. It doesn't seem to come with a charging cable, but instead allows you to use your existing Apple Lightning cable. There's a variety of colours to match your phone.

Beautiful recruiting software
02

Homerun is a new tool to manage the recruiting process of small-to-medium-sized businesses. It covers everything, from creating a beautiful career site to assessing applicants within your team. I just played around with their demo account and it really makes me want to hire someone...

A guide to end email anxiety
03

I'm a big fan of Jocelyn K. Glei's writing and I was lucky enough to have her contribute a small essay to Offscreen Issue 14. I'm excited about her newest book – a 'modern, no-nonsense guide to getting rid of email anxiety, reclaiming your productivity, and spending more time on the work that matters.' It's currently on pre-order, to be released in October this year.

Simple online surveys
04

Another online survey tool with a simplistic approach. I'll give this a test drive next month to see if it's a good fit for a survey I'm planning for Offscreen.

This is fine
05

The fact that there is now a 'This is fine' plush dog that has already received $300,000 in funding (and going) is the most 'internet' thing you will see on the internet all week.

Track your team's time zones
06

Are you part of a remote workforce that's spread across various time zones? This free tool displays your team members according to their time zone, so you can easily see whether it's ok to contact them. Handy!

The only secret of magic is that I'm willing to work harder on it than you think it's worth.
