What a wonderful field trip we’ve had today! Thank you to all the parents who came along as we explored the aquarium.

State Floats are due Monday, Feb. 11th!  We can’t wait to see them!

• Bible: We will be learning about how the Holy Spirit empowers us as believers. 
• Memory Verse: 1 Timothy 4:12,  “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young but set the example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.”
• Spelling: Unit 21 (mis- and un- words) - Mistake, mishap, misplace, misbehave, mislead, misspell, misread, misuse, mishear, unable, unhappy, unload, unclean, unlock, unlike, unreal, unsafe, unseen, undo, untie
• Language: Continuing our study of mixed patterns 1 and 2
• Reading: Concluding our Plot study. Toolbox Test on Wednesday, Feb. 6. Performance test on Friday, Feb. 8.   
• Math: Explaining and understanding fraction concepts, such as equivalence, comparing and contrasting, and problem-solving.
• Science: Continue to study electricity and magnetism.
• Social Studies: Continuing our study of chapter 6- learning about inventions and improvements in our country. Quizlet link coming soon. Southwest Region quiz next week! 
• Southwest Region: Oklahoma - Oklahoma City, Texas - Austin, New Mexico - Santa Fe, Arizona - Phoenix

Join Shiloh's Leadership Team for refreshments in the SEC foyer from 8-9am prior to the 1st Grade Little Dribblers and PH Jigglers on February 7th! We would love to see you there!

As Northwest Arkansas continues to grow, we want the influence of Christ to grow as well. We are doing a big push for new student enrollment for the fall semester at Shiloh. We want to bring in some like-minded families that want to raise their children in a Christian environment. Therefore, we want to partner with our current Shiloh parents so you can invite others to join the Shiloh family!

Shiloh parents will receive a $300 check in September 2019 for any student that completes the admission process, is accepted, begins attending for the fall semester, and their account is current as of September 15th. • February 11th: State float due
• February 14th: Patriotic Program in the Worship Center at 8:30
• February 14th:  Valentine’s Day Party at 2:30 in the afternoon
• February 18th:  No school, President’s Day
• February 19: Discover Shiloh Dinner Event @ 6:00 pm in the CCS Kid's Theater.  Invite prospective families to attend!
