Campaign Update Monday 24, November 2014

Get involved for the 16 days!

This 16 days of activism, we at Scottish Women’s Aid are using the overall theme of “From Peace in the Home to Peace in the World: Let’s Challenge Militarism and End Gender-Based Violence “ as a springboard to explore the ways in which cultures of violence impact on us all. We are connected.

Working with our friends in the creative industries, human rights advocates and gender equality groups, we’re proud to present this calendar of events.

Women across the world are affected by war, militarism and cultures of violence and abuse in many ways. Whether on or off line, we’re hosting events to explore what violence looks like in women’s day to day lives, and how we can create cultures to challenge this.

Over the 16 days, as throughout the year, we’ll be  working with partners to highlight the ways in which women are affected, and to explore the many different ways in which we can all do one thing to stop it.
We hope you will join us.
