Architectural Draftsperson / Technician

The Opportunity

Capitalising on recent growth, we require the services of an Architectural Draftsperson / Technician to join our Design team.  Working closely with our Design Manager, you will be involved in checking proposed sites and documenting design solutions, maintaining REVIT systems as well as liaising directly with clients and trades.

The Person

You will enjoy working within a team, be self-motivated and have the ability to manage the interface between design and construction management. Experience in the following areas is preferred :

• Minimum 3 years REVIT experience.
• REVIT system management including but not limited to family creation and library maintenance, 3D modelling / rendering and documentation.
• TAFE Diploma of Building Design and Technology preferred as minimum.
• Must be passionate about interior and furniture detailing.
• Must possess excellent understanding of furniture construction and detailing with excellent presentation skills.
• Must possess excellent understanding of BCA and Australian Standards.
• Must have the ability to work both in a team as well as independently.
• Must be able to learn quickly and implement systems.
• Must have the ability to achieve deadlines. A high level of initiative and strong communication skills is essential and previous experience in the industry would be advantageous.

Experience in the following areas is preferred, but not essential :

• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Creative Suite Design 5 or higher.
• Photoshop.
• Illustrator.
