Extend serial transmission range over fibre

It is easy to convert and extend the transmission distance of RS-232, RS-485/422 and PROFIBUS serial protocols. The ODW fiber optic modems and our convenient plug-and-play transceiver concept makes it possible to choose between single mode, multimode or bi-di fibre with different speeds and distances. Depending on your preference, you can choose between point-to-point, multidrop or ring network setup.
The robust ODW product line is designed for harsh industrial environments and the compact and rugged IP-40-rated enclosure is equipped with a stable mounting clip for DIN rail and is easily configured using DIP-switches.
