It has been a tremendous year for the Public Education Foundation.

We have had a bumper year for scholarships. By the time the 2017 scholarship announcements are made, the Foundation will have awarded more than 850 scholarships to students and educators in public education.

To find out about this year's scholarship recipients and other activities, you might like to read the newly released The Public Education Foundation 2015-16 Annual Report. Please also keep an eye on our website for new scholarship opportunities and the Minister's and Secretary's Awards for Excellence in 2017.

We would like to thank all our supporters and donors. You have all played an important role in the development and growth of the Foundation, and we appreciate your ongoing support.

Our offices will be closed from December 22, 2016 until January 9, 2017. We look forward to being in touch in the new year.

Wishing you all the very best for a safe and happy festive season.

From all of us at the Public Education Foundation.
