See Valentine's Day in a New Shade

Klick's Sydney office shared the love with Sunglass Hut by hosting a gorgeous lunch at The Bridge Room in the city for an early Valentine’s Day celebration on January 31st.

We brought Valentine’s Day back to romantic simplicity, with guests receiving a handmade paper valentine. Legendary paper artist James Gordon set the scene by masterfully creating a playful paper garden for guests. Showcasing sunglasses as the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for your significant other, we educated our guests on the latest trends from the collections.

All Aboard the Tequila Train to Mundo Cuervo

Klick recently visited our partner, Mundo Cuervo in Tequila— yes, it’s a town, not just a drink!

Located in one of Mexico’s historic “magic towns”, Mundo Cuervo is the tourism branch of the world-famous tequila brand, Jose Cuervo, which offers an authentic, one-of-a-kind Mexico experience for every type of traveler.

Between a ride on the Jose Cuervo Express tequila tasting train, a stay at the five-star Solar de las Animas, horse backing through the iconic blue agave landscape and blending and blotting personalized tequila at the oldest distillery in North America, Mundo Cuervo offers no shortage of Tequila-only experiences. We’re thrilled to welcome our new partner to the Klick family and can’t wait for what’s in store.

Is This Australia's Most Luxurious Entrée?

Bistro Remy took aphrodisiacs for Valentine’s Day to new heights at The Langham Sydney with Australia’s most lavish entrée, The South Sea Pearl Entrée.

Executive Chef Dave Whitting dazzled diners with two freshly shucked Sydney Rock oysters containing Australian South Sea pearls valued at $3200 as mementos from the posh meal.

Bistro Remy sources the best local produce with oysters from Mimosa Rocks National Park, Australia’s first certified organic rock oyster farm and Australian South Sea pearls harvested from the waters off the Broome coastline, the only area in the world producing the iconic Australian South Sea pearl.

Woolmark Winners Crowned

At the global final of the world’s most prestigious award for emerging fashion talent, British label COTTWEILER and New York-based designer Gabriela Hearst nabbed the menswear and womenswear 2016/17 International Woolmark Prize.
Held at the iconic Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the menswear and womenswear awards were held together in one prestigious event for the first time.

Twelve finalists representing six regions from around the world came together to celebrate the versatility and innovative qualities of Merino wool.
Joined by a highly esteemed panel of judges, including Victoria Beckham, Jefferson Hack, Miroslav Duma and Suzanne Koller, each of the finalists presented a Merino-wool rich capsule collection to demonstrate the unique approaches to contemporary fashion design using the world’s finest natural fibre. Both winners receive AU $100,000 to help support the development of their business, ongoing industry mentor support, Woolmark certification for their winning collection and the opportunity to be stocked in some of the world’s best department stores and boutiques.

G'Day LA!

Klick's LA office was lucky enough to be invited to the G’Day USA Virtual Tour of Australia event in New York City recently, hosted by Tourism Australia.  The event showcased the best-of-the-best of Australia via virtual reality, with delicious canapés prepared by none other than Neil Perry.

The star-studded event was hosted by Aussie actress Rachel Griffiths, who interviewed the dashing Chris Hemsworth live on stage.  (A very excited Klick LA team member was one of the only people in the room to snag a selfie with Chris after his talk. And yes, he is that handsome in real life). It was a fantastic way for our LA team to experience a little bit of Australian magic, even on a cold and dreary NYC night.

Klick Hawaii Office Gets #Blessed

Good vibes flow at the Klick Hawaii team’s Chinatown office space after a blessing by Kahu Kordell Kekoa.

The Kahu blessed the Klick Hawaii headquarters to ensure good luck and ward off evil spirits by using traditional Ti leaves that he dipped into a Hawaiian Koa wood bowl filled with water to bless the business.

The leaves were also used to send positive spiritual energy to the Sydney and Los Angeles teams during the Global WIP.
