2017 Agent Procedures Manual

The updated 2017 Agent Procedures Manual has been approved by order by the Florida Department of Financial Services and is now available on our website, fslso.com/APM. The manual is a comprehensive reference guide for conducting surplus lines business in Florida and includes links to many documents and forms necessary for conducting surplus lines business in Florida.

Included in the revised manual is the updated Diligent Effort form and a diligent effort/disclosure matrix.

Diligent Effort Form

An updated Diligent Effort form is now available as part of our Agent Procedures Manual.  The updated Diligent Effort form allows for documenting electronic declinations when performing the due diligence requirement. 

Diligent Effort/Disclosure Matrix - Coming Soon

Navigating the diligent effort requirements can be confusing and cumbersome.  FSLSO is releasing a Diligent Effort/Disclosure Matrix that will help agents determine which form is required for each line of coverage.  The new Diligent Effort/Disclosure Matrix will soon be available in the Agent Procedures Manual and on the FSLSO website.
