Many names have already been suggested (Thank you all!) but we are eager to hear more suggestions! And of course every competition needs a prize, so: Help us find a name for him and win an iPod shuffle!

Here is how it works:

  1. Suggest a name for our gorilla HERE!
  2. You can suggest names and vote until 23rd of September 2011
  3. The person whose name has the most votes by the end of September wins an iPod Shuffle!
  4. The winner will be announced in October's NewSticker AND on top of that we will draw a lottery among all the participants and one lucky person will win a "Surprise Gorilla Package" !
--> So Go Vote! Go Suggest!

Stafix Temperature Resistance

We often receive questions about the options and possibilities of using Stafix® in different temperatures and climates.

Stafix® can be placed in direct sunlight and heat without affecting the static adherence. Making Stafix® an excellent option for your street marketing campaigns or window stickers for example. Longer exposures to sunlight can make the colors fade in time.

Stafix® also likes cold and subzero temperatures. You can place Stafix® both outside and inside of freezers and chillers without affecting the static charge. This enables Stafix® to be used in various POS-campaigns and applications.

More information on the characteristics of Stafix® can be found on our website in our FAQ section.

Stafix for Kitchen Joy - Thai Cubes

Lejos, a Finnish importer and marketer of international, high-quality foodstuff brands, used Stafix® for an in-store promotional campaign.

The campaign advertised hand-made Thai frozen food, packaged in convenient cubes. The stickers were used on freezers to gather consumer’s attention during the promotion.

Stafix® stickers are a perfect tool for POS-campaigns, especially in the frozen food sector. Stickers can be placed both in- and outside of freezers and coolers fast and easily.

“We were looking for a material which could be used on various surfaces and would be temperature resistant, so that we can use the stickers on and in the freezers. Traditional stickers with glue weren’t an option because we can’t be having glue residue on the glass after the campaign, as that is not an image we want to communicate to our customers” - Jouni Kesseli, Product Group Manager at Lejos Finland

Stafix for Safe and Active School Day

Safe and Active School day is a project between the cities Turku and Tallinn. The aim of the project is to encourage active life, increase participation and involvement and strengthen the feeling of togetherness on a school level.

The project utilized posters printed on Stafix® as one of the tools. The use of Stafix® is especially useful for temporary campaigns since it is fast and easy to install and does not leave any residues when the stickers are removed at the end of the campaign.

“The posters received very positive feedback from the schools and project administrators. I also received requests for the posters from project personnel who wanted to utilize the materials in their meetings and as educational material. In autumn 2011 we are going to expand the same concept, that has already been proven successful”. – Anu Oittinen, Project Manager, Safe and Active Schoolday Turku
