(As a means of introduction, Marianne, along with her husband, Rene, lead the work of HFI in Haiti. Marianne, a nurse, has extensive international experience, especially in the medical field.  Many of you have worked with her in the past as she has led multiple HFI medical teams.)

Dear Hope Force Medical Reservist,

Greetings from Nashville, TN where Rene and I are with Jack and Cherie Minton (HFI founders) during this Corona virus pandemic. I just wanted to check in with you to let you know that we are praying for you, and if you so desire, I'm available to process with you.  No doubt, this pandemic — with all the demands that this virus has created — has had an impact upon you as a medical professional, and upon your personal life as well.

None of us knows the future as to how this will all develop, but we do know Who holds our future... and Who holds you. In the midst of the storm, God is there. The song, “Faithful One, Never Changing” by Brian Doerksen has been very encouraging to me over these past days.  Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you...and for you.
