meteocontrol has expanded its portal by integrating the monitoring platform of SolarEdge into VCOM. The newly developed portlet in VCOM now visualizes the measured values of the SolarEdge monitoring platform on the module level. The integration offers many benefits, including standardized reporting, well-organized analyses and system comparability.

Automated CSV Export of VCOM Analyses

We have added a practical tool to VCOM. You can now automatically send your analyses from VCOM as a CSV file. With just one click, you can activate the automatic transmission of the analyses at a selected interval. You will then receive a file containing the analyses at the email address you have included in your user profile.

The export list to the right of the graph shows which analyses will be sent by email. You can also deactivate the email option here.

June Release: New Graphs in the VCOM Report

In the June release, you will find redesigned graphs in the VCOM reports.

We are currently in the process of adapting the report graphs to the design of the VCOM graphs. Our aim is to unify the VCOM design and make it easier to read as a result. Beginning with the June release, the reports will automatically include the new, improved graphs. There is no need to adjust your templates.

New Language French

You now have the option of selecting French for the blue’Log front end.

Information Security

The security of your data and monitoring system is our very highest priority. We continuously work to improve information security and have taken such steps as revising password guidelines for VCOM and blue’Log. The following improvements are now available:

• Application of Linux Kernel with version 4.4 and long-term support (LTS)

• Upgrade of the encryption of communications between VCOM and blue’Log on TLS 1.2

For projects with complete solutions, meteocontrol is now providing its partners with a project-related manufacturer's warranty of five years on all supplied hardware components. The warranty applies to complete projects that include monitoring planning as well as the supply and commissioning of components by meteocontrol.

Aside from the project-related manufacturer's warranty, the legally defined warranty period of 24 months also applies.

In cooperation with the University of Oldenburg and Ciemat, high-resolution satellite images are analyzed in order to generate global, diffuse, and direct irradiation data for locations all over the world. The NCEP reanalysis data enables us to provide accurate temperature data for geocoordinates all over the world.
