Meet The Candidates - Thursday, June 26th

Join the North Central Florida Tea Party at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2014 for a “Meet the Candidates” session.  We will be meeting twice a month up until the elections.  All the candidates have been invited.  This meeting we will have candidates for the Columbia & Suwannee County Commissions, as well as School Board candidates for both counties.  This will be a great opportunity to listen to the candidates, ask questions and begin to form opinions. .

The candidates:

Columbia County

Linard Johnson  School Board - District 1

Mark Kazmierski   County Commission - District 2

Clifton Ward          County Commission - District 4

 Suwannee County

J. M. Holtzclaw   School Board - District 5

Phil Oxendine   County Commission - District 4

The candidates need to know that we are actively trying to make the best decision, that we will get out and vote and then hold them accountable!  Please make an effort to attend these meetings and invite your family, friends, and neighbors!

We will have raffle tickets for our fund raiser, copies of the American Patriot Newspaper and other pertinent information.  Please come out and get involved!

We meet at 7:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at the Jackie Taylor Building located at 128 SW Birley Ave.  This is on the corner of U.S. 90 and Birley Ave. approx. 3 miles west of the I-75 interchange.  For more information on our group, go to www.ncftparty.org or call 386-935-0821.

What Happened in Mississippi?

Did you pay attention to the Republican Senate primary in Mississippi?  What do you think of the results?

1,832 of 1,832 precincts reporting (100.0%)

Thad Cochran    50.9%

Chris McDaniel   49.1%

Do you wonder how that happened?

Could it be the saying that is attributed to Benjamin Franklin?

"When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic"
Although found nowhere in the national archives or known writings of Benjamin Franklin, it is widely accepted that he once said “When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.”    read more about this at:  http://knowledgeczar.blogspot.com/2010/03/when-people-find-they-can-vote.html   *(Everything I heard about Thad Cochran was about the money he brought home to the state of Mississippi; is that what they voted for?  If so, are we at a tipping point when more than 50% of the people are willing to vote that way so that they can get what they think they need to be taken care of?)

or:  could it be the Establishment Republican dirty tactics?  Listen to the robo call here:

http://dailycaller.com/2014/06/22/robocall-allegedly-recruiting-dem-votes-for-gop-sen-cochran-bashes-tea-party-alleges-racism/

Have we had enough of these type tactics yet?  Are we tired of being bashed from both sides because we are conservative constitutionalists who are concerned about our future, our children and grandchildren's futures and want to get back to the constutionally limited government that our founders gave to us?

I AM!   If you are, please get involved!  Help us make a difference!  Let the "establishment" know that we have had enough!
