Hi there,

As our transactions and interactions – be it with government agencies, banks, service providers, retailers or any of the many organisations we regularly interact with – become increasingly digital, and we hand over more and more personal data, trust has become the topic du jour for many.

A new report from IDC and Microsoft aims to take the pulse of consumer sentiment around trust in digital services – and the results aren’t entirely positive for business. In fact, only 31 percent of consumers across APAC trust organisations offering digital services to protect their personal data.

It’s a sobering stat, particularly when you consider that more than half of respondents also said they’ll switch companies if they have a negative trust experience.

But there are potential solutions…

In other news:

  • Be agile or be irrelevant
  • Data trust perceptions
  • Zag zigs into spatial services
  • Empired's Intergen setting the standard

We also take a look at how environmental solutions provider Veolia has harnessed modern enterprise asset management to gain a mobile edge and enhanced decision making while gaining new efficiencies and mitigating risks.

And speaking of good returns, we all want a good ROI on our IT investments, but many of the benefits of ERP systems can be hard to measure. So just how can you evaluate the return on your ERP investment? Register for our webinar, running Tuesday July 30, and all will be revealed.

Enjoy the read,

Lost in translation: Data workers don’t trust company data

Mind that perception gap…

Data workers dont trust data
