Dear Supporters,

Since there's so much coming up at STARTTS in the next few weeks and months, we thought we'd do something a little different and focus this quarter's newsletter only on events.

Coming up very soon is the Refugee Ball on October 9 - don't miss out on a ticket!

And a little later in the year we will be having a very special event for our 25th Anniversary, as well as the second annual Dance Africa Dance showcase.

Refugee Ball - less than a month to go!

Refugee Ball is shaping up to be huge in 2013! Tickets have been selling fast and we're expecting a bumper crowd and our biggest event yet. Only 400 tickets are available so don't wait - it's quick and easy to buy online.

The School Liaison Program is where all the money will go this year and we're hoping to give it a big boost - the program is doing some remarkable work helping traumatised kids in school and the teachers who support them and they could really use some extra help!

But don't just come to the Ball to do a good deed - come to be entertained as well!

• The amazing Afro-Contemporary Youth Dance group are young, dynamic and ready to entertain us with their mix of African and contemporary styles

Oscar Jimenez and Unidos Somos Mas will be getting the dance floor moving with their infectious Latin grooves

Plus, as always, we will be having auctions and raffles with loads of amazing prizes to be won.

October 9 is just under a month away - be quick!
