Applications received for Managed Spectrum Park

An application has been received for licences for radio spectrum in the 2.5 GHz Managed Spectrum Park band.  Potential uses for this spectrum include wireless broadband services.

Since November 2010, parties interested in utilising this spectrum have been able to apply for access on a first-come, first-served basis, but with sharing processes required to be negotiated by applicants. An Application has been received by the Crown Spectrum Asset Manager from:

PrimoWireless Ltd, for additional licences with coverage in the New Plymouth and South Taranaki District Council TLA areas.

Applications received for 3.5 GHz local area licences

An application has been received for licences for fixed broadband wireless access services in the 3.5 GHz local area Management right band.

Since July 2013, parties interested in utilising this spectrum have been able to apply for licences on a notified competitive allocation basis, but with sharing processes required to be negotiated by applicants. An application has been received by the Crown Spectrum Asset Manager from:

Gisborne.Net.NZ Ltd, for licence lots with coverage in the Gisborne and Wairoa District Council TLA areas.
