What a day Scampers have lined up at our Phoenix French Bulldog Rescue and awareness event this Sunday, 9th April!

The French Bulldog is about to become the most registered breed in the UK and this has led to a huge problem. The Frenchie can suffer from numerous chronic health issues and many are ending up needing help and rescuing. Phoenix is a registered charity, run completely by volunteers, whose goal is to help all Frenchies and Frenchie cross breeds through fostering, adoption, and of course, education about this wonderful breed.

Opening at 10am we will be welcoming some of our pet industry friends to be in store to chat to all our customers, as this day will be fun for everyone and every breed of dog! Come and meet Beate from Gentle Dog Food, The Woof & Brew and Dog Friendly team, I am Eco Frenchie, Natures Menu, Dion Gallichan (Dogs Trust Photographer 2016) and our special guest Dr Roger Mugford will be here to do some informal one to one behaviour consults (sorry no aggression issues on this day). And of course Suzie from The Allotment Catering Company will be here all day serving her great healthy treats and drinks for you.

If you have a French Bulldog then please try and be here between 12.45pm and 1.30pm for the BIG FRENCHIE PHOTO! Dion will be trying to get more Frenchies in a photo than ever before, and for every dog in the photo we are giving £2.50 to Phoenix….. this will be CHAOS!

This month we have some more great new products. We have worked really hard with Sea Treats an artisan fish treat company from Grimsby to bring you an all British range of fantastic treats for dogs and cats, your pets will love these super healthy all natural snacks!

Also new in store and after popular demand we have added another frozen treat freezer; Frozzys frozen yoghurt for dogs, perfect for the summer! Plus we have the naturally healthy new mixer biscuits from Natures Menu and a super new cat food from Symply Pet Food “Cheshire Cat”
