Reading – We will begin our new comprehension skill - Theme. We will also begin reading Prince Caspian as our novel. Be watching for an email with the new graphic tool, vocabulary, essential questions, big idea, and connection point.

Spelling – vowel diphthongs (oi, oy, ou, ow) moisture, voyage, employ, ounce, mountain, coward, allow, oyster, poise, pronounce, avoid, decoy, couch, tower, sour, destroy, bound, appoint, allowance, annoy

Grammar – Finish Chapter 6 - possessive nouns, interjections, clauses, subordinate conjunctions, complex sentences
