Hope Force International (HFI) Reservists from across the country converged in South Carolina on behalf of flood survivors. Our focus was flood remediation to assist under-insured homeowners struggling to remove personal items and water-soaked drywall, insulation and flooring. These efforts not only serve to mitigate against the spread of harmful mold, but actually reduce the cost of recovery efforts by volunteer labor – preventing further deterioration.
We had the privilege of serving some rather extraordinary people in South Carolina. We were deeply impacted when learning of those crying out in prayer for help as we were praying for God to direct us to those in need. Indeed, God does answer prayer! We look forward to the possibility of partnering together as we transition into the rebuilding phase of this disaster.
