Christian Renewal New Orleans grew out of Hurricane Katrina. Thrown into a time of tremendous change, churches and ministries started to rethink what it means to live into the Spirit. Reaching across denominational lines, they experimented with new ways of spiritual formation and community engagement. Christian Renewal New Orleans networks these congregations and organizations to re-enliven their ministries and share their experience with others who seek to follow Jesus Christ.
CRNO is excited to announce two programs that are launching in the fall of 2011: A series of trainings for pastors and church leaders and an intentional Christian community.

Renewal takes many shapes but shares many similarities. These three trainings bring together lay and clergy leaders to talk about ways to live into the spirit. Come share in ecumenical sessions offered in partnership with the Louisiana Interchurch Conference.

CRNO is excited to announce a new partnership and program that invites even more young adults to connect their desire to serve with their faith in Jesus Christ - the greatest Servant of all. Young adults who are accepted and committed to a year of service through Americorps, City Year, or other programs can live together in an intentional Christian community
. Over the course of a year, they’ll be able to enrich their service experience through exploring and deepening their faith in God. The community will live in a furnished house on Annunciation Mission’s campus, which is located near the intersection of Clairborne and Napoleon in the Broadmoor neighborhood. Apply here!
