Foundation Announces Essay Contest in lead-up to Annual September 11, 2016 Remembrance Program

The Palm Beach Gardens Police Foundation announced today that it will, in partnership with Palm Beach Gardens Fire-Rescue and the Fire Chief's Association of Palm Beach County, sponsor the second annual September 11th Remembrance Essay Contest.

The essay contest is designed to serve as an inspirational vehicle for local youth to strengthen their appreciation of the historical events on September 11, 2001. Most of the students currently attending high schools were not yet born at the time of these horrific attacks on our nation. This essay contest is aimed at ensuring that the youth of our community learn about and understand the importance of the events that claimed the lives of some 3,000 Americans.
