Invitation to a roundtable discussion on the potential stranding of environmentally unsustainable assets in agriculture – Tuesday 12th March 2013

Dear

The University of Oxford's Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment (SSEE) and Climate Change Capital would like to invite you to a roundtable discussion on the potential stranding of environmentally unsustainable assets in agriculture. This will take place on 12th March at 1400 GMT at Climate Change Capital, 3 More London Riverside, SE1 2AQ, UK.

This forms part of a research project being undertaken by the SSEE. The project plans to understand the potential drivers of stranding in an environmental context and what that might mean for investors in the agricultural supply chain, as well as policy makers. Asset stranding could be driven by a range of factors, including changes in regulation, pricing, technology, society and climate.

To apply for your place to attend please contact Victoria Mitchell. Numbers are limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible. The full agenda will be sent closer to the time.

Yours sincerely,

Ben Caldecott
Head of Policy, Climate Change Capital
