NATE Commemoration Declaring May 6, 2026, as Tower Technician Appreciation Day(Washington, D.C.) – NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association today unveiled a commemoration declaring Wednesday, May 6, 2026, as Tower Technician Appreciation Day. For the ninth consecutive year, NATE and the communications infrastructure industry have set aside this day to recognize and celebrate the critical contributions of tower technicians who work tirelessly to enable a connected, data-driven world.
NATE Announces New Contractor Business ToolkitThe NATE Contractor Business Toolkit is a planned online resource hub designed to support U.S.-based telecommunications contractors in both business administration and field operations. It will serve as a one-stop shop of practical, downloadable templates, checklists, forms, guides, and sample documents that small and mid-sized contractor members (often family-run businesses) can use to streamline their operations.
T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T Workforce Integrity Reporting HotlinesAs part of the new wireless contracting framework agreements NATE brokered with Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T, all carriers have established "Workforce Integrity" Reporting Hotlines. These exist so the industry can report the use of unauthorized labor on-site, including undocumented individuals and unapproved 1099 workers accessing their sites and compromising safety, quality, and professionalism. Reducing Serious Injuries & Fatalities (SIFs) with Energy-Based Safety WebinarAlthough overall incident rates have declined over the past decade, serious injuries and fatalities (SIFs) have remained unchanged.
