MESSAGE: Dr. Andrea Feller, MD, MS, FAAP, FACPM, Associate Medical Officer of HealthIn this special March edition of the Physicians' Newsletter we will share important updates related to COVID-19 in Niagara. As things continue to evolve in terms of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we realize it has been difficult to keep you up-to-date on the latest information as it becomes available, and we are working to improve that. Public Health nurses continue to be available to take your call through the Information Line (NEW: 905-688-8248, press 7, then press 1 for physicians). A live chat option with a nurse is also available for you and your patients. A list of frequently asked questions (FAQ) to support primary care professionals is now available on our website. We will be updating the FAQ section as new questions arise throughout this evolving pandemic and providing links to the most reliable websites. Please check this site regularly. As the pandemic evolves and we eventually see community spread, it will be together, as a team, that we will support our residents and each other, and keep everyone as healthy as possible. UPDATE: Public Health Information LineWe will continue to refine the call line process in order to minimize wait times. Note the changes below. For Health Care Professionals
