Preparing your client for a paramedical - Valid Verification of Insured documents

The Examiner must verify the Life Insured's identity by reviewing the original of one of these government-issued documents:

  • Passport
  • Driver's Licence (with photo and signature)
  • Provincial Health Card (exception Manitoba, Ontario and PEI - Provincial regulation in  these provinces no longer allow provincial health cards to be used as means of identification)
  • Other FINTRAC Dual Method
