This month we're inviting all members to take Equestrian Australia's Engagement Survey. A survey of this kind was last run by EA and the States back in 2011 and the results will be used to assist in further developing services and benefits for current and prospective members. As an incentive for contributing to the survey, one person will win a prize consisting of a 38mm Silver/White Apple Watch (Sport) and an EA Membership. We encourage you to take part in this important information gathering exercise.

Applications are now being taken for ICDF funding for events held between 1 July 2015 – 30 June 2016. The ICDF supports projects and events that fall into the “international competition” category or can be demonstrated to further the “development” of the sport in general or a particular discipline. More than 120 young people flocked to the Werribee Park Equestrian Centre on Tuesday to participate in the first Ready Set Trot School Holiday Expo. MORE   

Applications opened today for the Giving4Grassroots™ program of the Australian Sports Foundation. Grants of up to $10,000 are available for projects that will increase participation and accessibility to sport for youth aged 16 years and under. Projects can be anything sport related (purchase of sporting equipment, sports development initiatives or clinics). MORE

A new fundraising facility and initiative that will support Australian based dressage riders who are campaigning to compete overseas at Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games and/or World Cup events, was unveiled at the annual Dressage and Jumping with the Stars event in Melbourne. MORE   

For the first time, the Grand Prix at the Sydney Royal was rated as a FEI World Cup 2 star event. A first in Sydney that could not be overlooked! MORE  

The Ariat Riders of the Month are Chris Burton, Paul Tapner & Kevin McNab for their silver medal position at the opening round of the FEI Nations Cup Eventing series for 2015 held at Fontainebleau (FRA). MORE
