  • Working Members get the 5 percent plus their 5 percent Working Member discount. Whatta deal.
  • Are you a Senior Discount participant? Ka-ching! Shop Tuesday, Feb. 2 and collect your 10 percent PLUS the member appreciation discount, for 15 percent off! (And if you're a working senior member, do the math — now you're up to 20 percent on Tuesday.)

You'll get the 5 percent Member Appreciation Week discount immediately, plus a special New Member goodie bag (a $20 value) and a chance to win a free year of Co-op membership. Just talk to the Membership representative in the main stores in Mt. Airy or Chestnut Hill. Or contact Membership at member@weaversway.coop or 215-843-2350, ext. 119.

Naturally, There's Even More Good Stuff

Live Music!
We have special performances planned most days in both stores. We're not saying you have to wear your dancing shoes, but it couldn't hurt.

We'll honor other coupons

Coupon Exchange
We'll be taking competitor coupons. The fine print: limit one per customer, must be the original coupon, no copies.

Did We Mention Cake?
Of course. It's a Member Appreciation tradition. In the afternoon, Friday, Feb. 5, both stores.

Demos & Sampling

We love it when our local vendors come in to sample and do demonstrations. So we're really going all-out, even before Member Appreciation Week officially kicks in, because, well, we think you appreciate it too.

Fireside Tonic

Food & Ferments
Friday, Jan. 29, 1-3 p.m.
Weavers Way Mt. Airy

Our pals from Ithaca, NY, will be here with samples aplenty of their kombucha, which you can find on tap upstairs. They'll also have shots of their latest creation, Fireside Tonic. Like Fire Cider? Fireside Tonic adds organic jalapenos and cayenne to the standard apple cider vinegar/raw honey/horseradish mix, so it has a bigger kick than the Shire City Herbals concoction. Knock it back and feel the burn!

Calkins cheese

Calkins Cheeses & Uniquely Greek
Saturday, Jan. 30, noon-2 p.m.
Weavers Way Mt. Airy
Make this Saturday your day for scouting cheese!
John Connor is back by the deli in Mt. Airy to share Calkins Creamery Daisy, a cave-aged tomme (pictured), and rounds of Elsa Mae, made in the style of tallegio. He’ll also have Delaware County’s Uniquely Greek spreads in Spinach and Spicy Buffalo for your pleasure.

Uniquely Greek

Saturday, Jan. 30, 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Weavers Way Chestnut Hill

Then, right around 2, John will pack up and head for the Hill, where he’ll put out Calkins Noblette baby brie, Elsa Mae and Gardenia Italiano, a quark spread flavored with sun-dried tomatoes and Italian seasoning. The Uniquely Greek spread will have a place at the table there, too.

Cherry Grove Cheese & St. Lucifer Spice
Sunday, Jan. 31, noon-4 p.m.
Weavers Way Chestnut Hill

The John Connor one-man show continues! For the first official tasting of Member Appreciation Week, he’ll put out Buttercup Brie from Lawrenceville, NJ’s Cherry Grove Farm. In other snack news, he’ll also have popcorn sprinkled with St. Lucifer, a habanero pepper blend that’s the product of two guys from Fishtown. Creamy and spicy — nice!

One Village Coffee

One Village Coffee
Monday, Feb. 1, 4-7 p.m.
Weavers Way Chestnut Hill

Souderton, PA’s finest java mavens will offer up their fair trade, certified organic, drinkable works of art. Warm up with a tiny cup or two, and take some home!

Sliced ham

Wellshire's livestock is vegetarian-fed with no steroids or growth-promoting hormones. Stop by and grab a bite — you may need to make a switch!

Sopressata

Super Bowl Snack Pregame
Tuesday, Feb. 2, 3:30-7:30 p.m.
Weavers Way Mt. Airy

John Connor closes out his Tour de Demos with a bevy of savory for your Big Game gathering.  He’ll have a special edition aged goat wheel from Wisconsin's Sartori, sopressata from Claudio’s in the Italian Market, and two cheese spreads from Bath, PA's Key Ingredient Market infused with Headwaters and Golden Monkey ales from Downingtown’s Victory Brewing.  Shop for now and shop for Super Bowl Sunday!

Kombucha bottles

Inspired Brews Kombucha

Old City’s own will be here to share their kombucha creations, which you can draw for yourself from the kegerator tap upstairs.  Is there a new flavor in the wings?  Here's one way to find out.

Philly Fair Trade Coffee
Thursday, Feb. 4, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
